Claudio Pizarro will play the legends match, between America and Europe, at the Daytona Soccer Fest

The Daytona Soccer Fest takes place this weekend, with musical and soccer events that attract the attention of the public. Precisely, this Sunday, on the second day of the spectacular event, a duel will be played between the legends of America vs. Europe, in which the Peruvian Claudio Pizarro will participate.

Through social networks, the organization of this festival announced the presence of several world football figures, who will come together for an exhibition match on the field built at the Daytona International Speedway, the renowned Nascar racetrack. The formation of the field took place in record time: it only took five days.

According to the official website of the event, the American team will be made up of the Argentines Darío Sala, Javier Zanetti, Javier Mascherano, Augusto Fernández and Juan Sebastián Verón; the Brazilians Naldo, Fred and Kleberson; the American Jermaine Jones; Bolivian Marco Etcheverry; the Colombian Juan Pablo Angel; the Peruvian Claudio Pizarro; Hondurans Carlos Pavón, Amado Guevara and Luciano Emilio; the Mexican Pável Pardo and the Salvadoran Fernando Palomo.

For its part, the European squad will have the Argentine-French David Trezeguet; the Frenchman Mikael Silvestre; Spaniards Miguel Moya, Juanfran Torres and Gaiska Mendieta; the Iranian Ramak Safi; Bosnian Nurdin Hrustic; Swedish Marco Mitrovic; Dutchman Patrick Kluivert; Croatian Tommy Krizanovic; Serbian Petsa Ivanovic; and the Argentine Martín Gramática, champion of the NFL Super Bowl as a kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be reinforcement.

According to the schedule, the appearance of Claudio Pizarro and the other legends at the Daytona Soccer Fest will be this Sunday, July 3, from 2:00 pm (Peruvian time). It is worth mentioning that it will not be the first game of the holiday, since the Millionaires vs. América de Cali, which ended with the 2-1 victory of the ‘Blues’.
