Ready your goodbye? Cristiano Ronaldo did not appear at the start of Manchester United’s pre-season

Manchester United kicked off their pre-season on Monday, July 4. All the players were summoned to start the era of Erik ten Hag, but there was one big absentee: Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, CR7 did not attend the start of work in Manchester for “family reasons”. The club accepted his star’s explanation, but in Europe they have been reporting for several days that he is working with his representative, Jorge Mendes, to find a way out in the current transfer window.

It is worth mentioning that Manchester United has no intention of selling Cristiano Ronaldogiven that they have him for the 2022/23 season, where they will compete for all the titles in England and the UEFA Europa League.

The Lusitanian striker has a current contract with United until June 2023.

Last season, CR7 played a total of 38 games, including all competitions, and scored 24 goals. He was the top scorer for the ‘Red Devils’.
