Pablo Lavandeira expressed his disappointment after Alianza Lima’s draw: “We wanted to win”

Pablo Lavandeira became the hero of Alianza Lima by avoiding the fall against ADT. The Uruguayan midfielder scored the equalizer (1-1) and the blue and white club rescued a point from the height, however, the player expressed his regret since he wanted to emerge victorious from the Tarma box fort.

“We don’t take this result with a taste of victory because we are Alianza and we always have to go out and look for triumphs wherever we play”declared after the match to the Willax cameras.

In the same way, he highlighted the virtues of the rival. “The first few minutes were very hard because they played their game that didn’t suit us, but then we improved little by little. We are calm because of the effort put in, but I am not happy because we wanted to win”he added.

“I work to be better every day and, in that sense, I am happy and grateful to my teammates for the level that I have been showing. You have to keep giving it your all because at a club like Alianza sometimes it’s not enough.” Pablo Lavandeira added, adding seven goals with the Blue and Whites (5 in Liga 1 and 2 in Libertadores).

The squad led by Carlos Bustos gets ready for the Clausura debut next Sunday at 1 pm (Peruvian time) against Atlético Grau in Piura. Both teams met in the first round and the match was tied (1-1) in Matute.

“I am very happy, very excited to join a big club like Alianza Lima”Peruzzi declared before journalists at the Jorge Chávez airport, from where he would go to his accommodation in the capital.

“I chatted with Hernán Barcos, with whom we shared some games of the Argentina team. He spoke very highly of the city team, so I’m very happy. I really want to contribute my grain of sand to try to ensure that Alianza Lima is always at the highest possible level”Peruzzi added.
