Melgar will play this Wednesday his qualification for the quarterfinals of the Copa Sudamericana against Deportivo Cali. The red and black team arrives motivated, because they won the Opening Tournament on the weekend and, one day after the match, they received good news.
The Arequipa club reported, through social networks, that the tickets for the match that will take place at 7:30 pm (Peruvian time) at the UNSA Stadium have run out. The sports institution asked for the constant support of the fans.
“They are the best, red and black family, see you on Wednesday and everyone in red and black in the stands. Leaving the breath the 90 minutes”reads Melgar’s publication on his Twitter account and supporters of “Dominoes” assured their presence for said commitment.
In addition, the match against Deportivo Cali will also mark the dismissal of Néstor Lorenzo from the team’s technical management. The Argentine strategist will lead the Colombian team.
It is important to mention that both teams were tied without goals in the first leg. Likewise, the Colombian cast will not have Carlos Lucumi and Daniel Luna, while the Arequipa team recovers Bernardo Cuesta who fulfilled his suspension date.
