Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero excelled at a golf tournament in Casa de Campo

After his departure from football for health reasons, Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero deepened his relationship with Golf and with amazing ease he built a swing typical of a player with many years in this sport. This time, the appointment was at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas for the DR Open 2022, an event organized by the Dominican Golf Federation and one of the most important within the Caribbean amateur calendar. The Argentine played the tournament in Category C and finished in fifth place under the Stableford modality with 92 points after three days at The Links, Dye Fore and Teeth of the Dog, the jewels designed by Pete Dye in Casa de Campo.

More than 150 players gathered at the 12th edition of the DR Open, which had the main sponsorship of Mastercard Banreservas and the support of Casa de Campo, Emilio’s, Brugal and Light Sky. The champion in Category A (Gross) was the Argentine Mauro Lerda with 219 strokes, while among the Seniors the winner was the local Luis Matos with 238 strokes.
