Kylian Mbappé and his association met with disadvantaged young people from Nîmes

If everyone knows the sporting exploits of the striker of PSG and the French football team, who knows that he created an association, Inspired by KM, aimed at “bringing sports and cultural activities to 98 children from modest backgrounds in Île-de-France”?

Kylian Mbappé was precisely, in this context, at the arenas of Nîmes on Wednesday, October 12. Around him were dozens of young people from working-class neighborhoods or with disabilities, who had come to take part in a few sports activities… but also to meet their idol.

“The goal of Kylian’s association is to accompany us until we enter adult life, into working life. On the school, educational, sporting and cultural levels. The idea is to help us to be as emancipated as possible and to see always higher and always further”, explains Yagaré, member of the collective.

Clarisse Agbegnenou, Booder and Jamel Debbouze were also invited to the event. But it is around the footballer – who has just arrived 6th in the 2022 Ballon d’Or ranking (won by his compatriot Karim Benzema) – that the young audience crowded: “I have the impression that they m I like it, I was well received, Mbappé enthused.
