Controversial message: Redmayne, hero of Australia, signed a shirt for the Peruvian national team | PHOTO

So much has happened since June 13 (playoff day for Qatar 2022), but Andrew Redmayne continues to do his thing. In social networks, the hero of Australia reappeared with a publication related to our country. Since then, the “Socceroos” confirmed another story linked to the Peruvian team.

The goalkeeper attended a group of fans who came to an open day of work. Among those people there was a compatriot who arrived at the complex with the Blanquirroja shirt. Then, the fanatic showed the national jersey to the soccer player, who became known after the penalty shootout for the pass to the World Cup.

According to the postcards shared by the official account of the Australian team, Redmayne smiled when he saw the garment with the fringe. Immediately, she agreed to the fan’s request and left a dedication that will undoubtedly cause controversy. And it is that, despite the months that have passed, the defeat against the ‘kangaroos’ has not yet completely closed.

Thus, the Sydney FC goalkeeper signed the Bicolor shirt with the following message: “Your dad” and added the rubric that identifies him. If anyone believes that this is a joke, in the official profile of the ‘Socceroos’ they pointed out all of the above as “true story”.

As it is remembered, Redmayne was the great protagonist in the penalty round between the teams of Peru and Australia. In addition to the movements he made on the goal line, the ‘1 ′ saved Alex Valera’s shot and, consequently, granted the World Cup pass to his team.

Peru and Redmayne, another memory

The Australian goalkeeper spread a postcard on Instagram in which he holds a cup of coffee and in the other hand the mentioned product that has the name of our country printed on it. In fact, Andrew thanks the company that sent him the fresh beans.

After the diffusion of the photograph, the Peruvian users did not take long to react through their companions. “Thanks Dad”, “thank you for not forgetting about your children” either “sovereign father of the national territory”expresses another.

Peruvian national team friendlies

The new stage of the Bicolor continues under the command of Juan Reynoso. After the friendlies last September against Mexico (1-0 defeat) and El Salvador (4-1 victory), the national team continues with the preparation.

The Peruvian Football Federation announced that the team will have two preparation commitments next month. On November 16 they will face Paraguay in Lima and on November 19 against Bolivia in the city of Santa Cruz.
