Sporting Cristal separated Martín Távara from the squad after accusations of aggression

After his former romantic partner, Angye Zapata, accused him of physical and psychological aggression in a well-known entertainment program (Magaly TV La Firme), Sporting Crystal proceeded to separate from the professional staff Martin Tavara.

“Given the events that occurred involving the professional soccer player Martín Távara, Club Sporting Cristal states to the celestial family and to public opinion in general, the following:

1. After the corresponding evaluation of the facts based on the information obtained so far, Club Sporting Cristal has decided to proceed with the separation of the soccer player from the Professional Men’s Soccer Team, fully suspending all professional activity of the athlete.

2. In the same sense, the Legal Department of the Club has initiated the corresponding procedure established by Law.

3. Club Sporting Cristal is rigorous in its position of not tolerating acts of violence against women and of demanding exemplary behavior in accordance with the values ​​of our institution and with our purpose of helping to build a better society”.

In this way, Martín Távara will not be considered by Sporting Cristal at the close of the Clausura 2022 Tournament, on Sunday, October 30, against Carlos A. Mannucci.
