Pachuca has been proclaimed Liga MX champion six times, winning the title for the last time in the Clausura 2016. WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A TIE IN THE MX LIGA FINAL?

In the event of a tie on aggregate in Pachuca vs. Toluca (same number of goals in wins for each team), there will be extra time of 30 minutes, divided into two; and if parity persists, the champion will be decided on penalties. Let’s remember that away goals and position in the general table are not worth it. In that sense:

– Pachuca will be champion with another win, a draw or loss by three goals or less.

– Toluca will only be champion winning by five goals of advantage. Repeating the first leg difference will lead to extra time and possibly penalties.
