Peruvian pride: Thais Fernández won the gold medal at the Pan American Aerobic Gymnastics

National proud. Thais Fernández continues to give important medals to Peru. On this occasion, the Peruvian gymnast became the Pan American Aerobic Gymnastics champion after lifting the gold in the individual modality in Colombia.

The national gymnast appeared in Cúcuta for the Pan-American championship that was organized from October 24 to 30 and left the country’s name high after achieving first place in singles.

In statements to América Deportes, Thais Fernández maintained that “As never before, a very large delegation presented itself and in truth we have fulfilled objectives in all categories and modalities. We have brought quite a few medals and that makes me quite happy for all the girls on the team”.

“Keep going, fight for dreams and not give up when things get difficult, because sooner or later dreams come true. Up Peru!”Thais added with a smile for the achievements obtained in Colombian territory.

It should be noted that, on August 28, the Peruvian gymnast reaffirmed her sports level by taking the gold medal at the South American Aerobic Gymnastics Championship held in our country.

Silver and bronze medal for Peru

In addition to the individual gold medal for Thais Fernández, the Peruvian delegation was crowned with two more medals. Alessia Rodríguez, Alessandra Petrozzi, Flavia Gaveglio and Paulina Larrea completed the group from Peru.

The silver medal was obtained by Peru in the Groups modality, while the third place that gave them the bronze medal was for the Trio modality.
