Then questioned very closely by the young women’s lawyer, Benjamin Mendy did not deviate from his line of defense. “I didn’t think it could be wrong when we were consenting,” he said. While recognizing that “yes”, he had made love to women he did not know and who sometimes had just slept with a friend.
