Then, from there, the former Real Madrid striker stated that the South American coach lacks the passion to be in charge of the national team.

“Martino comes to earn good money and that is what matters to him. He doesn’t care at all if he leaves anyway, it doesn’t matter to him, he takes his money home, he has no passion and this business of leading Mexico must be done with passion and dedication ”held the ‘Pentapichichi’ in the conversation with the news agency.

Although Hugo Sánchez expressed the wish that Mexico be installed in decisive instances in Qatar 2022, the 64-year-old character believes that as long as Martino is at the head of the Aztecs, the panorama will be complex. Not only that, the former Atlético de Madrid said that the level of the team is getting worse.

“We would like nothing more than for the team to go far and play a historic role, but as seen in the handling of ‘Tata’ Martino, instead of coming from less to more we are going from less to less and the reality is that we are in a position That doesn’t arouse much excitement”said the World Cup player in 1978, 1986 and 1994.

To close, Sánchez also punished ‘Tata’ Martino for leaving Javier Hernández out of the World Cup. “It has been unpleasant, the exclusion of ‘Chicharito’, I am convinced that there are extra-sports issues that do not want to be aired, but they exist and the only ones who can say so are those involved”he claimed.
