Premier League: David Beckham ‘open to discuss’ Manchester United takeover

After the United States go back to basics for David Beckham? The former Paris Saint-Germain player founded his own MLS franchise in Miami and is now ready to negotiate with potential buyers for the Red Devils. On Wednesday, the Glazer family, who have owned Manchester United since 2005, said they were ready to sell England’s most successful team or open the club’s capital to new investors.

Potential buyers could join forces with the former Mancunian and his popularity to improve their chances of securing keys to one of the richest clubs in the world. According to The Times, Beckham will be “open to debate” despite having been approached by various investors in the past.

Spice Boy developed under the Mancunian colors from 1991 to 2003, from training center to first team. The former midfielder was part of the famous Generation of 92, along with Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary and Phil Neville.

These players filled the Red Devils’ trophy cabinet, but the Glazer takeover saw United go into decline. With the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013, Manchester were no longer champions of England and were replaced by City and hated rivals Liverpool.

The news of the English team is rich this month of the World Cup. Soap opera Ronaldo hit the headlines. Manchester and CR7 have finalized their divorce “by mutual agreement” with immediate effect on Tuesday.
