DT from Canada launched a misplaced phrase after losing to Belgium: “We are going to c… to Croatia”

The Canadian team surprised Belgium by being superior in game tickets for the first date of group F of the Qatar 2022 World Cup and even generated several opportunities to score. However, the European squad was more effective in front of the goal and thus led to the 1-0 victory thanks to Batshuayi’s goal.

Despite the result, the coach of the American team, John Herdman, was satisfied with the performance of his coaches. However, in the midst of the congratulations, he launched a misplaced phrase regarding the upcoming commitment.

“I just told (the players) that they belong in this tournament. And that now we are going to go and we are going to c… to Croatia. It’s that easy”, pointed out the British strategist and received criticism from users on social networks.

In another part of the press conference, DT thanked the support of the Canadian fans. “We have shown that we deserve to be here. Our fans have also tried to win the battle; we can leave proud of what we have done. We are a soccer nation. We had objectives that we have not been able to achieve. The group stage is fully open after the result between Morocco and Croatia.”he mentioned.

John Herdman also referred to Davies’ missed penalty early in the game. “We wanted to score that first goal. I am proud of Alphonso; it is a very big moment. We have the weight of a nation for the 36 years of waiting. I am very proud to see him catch that ball because you have to have a lot of courage”he pointed.

When is Canada’s next game?

The Canadian team will clash against Croatia next Sunday, November 27 for the second date of group H of the World Cup. ‘The Canucks’ are obliged to win to have a chance of moving on to the next round.
