Szczesny reveals the conversation he had with Messi: “I bet him 100 euros that the referee was not going to give a penalty”

The goalkeeper prevented his team from losing by more goals difference with great saves and even saved a penalty to Lionel Messi in a very controversial decision by the referee.

At 38 minutes, the goalkeeper went out to cut a cross, but collided with the ‘Albiceleste’ captain. After being called by the VAR, the judge checked the action and decided to charge a foul. Then, the ’10’ stopped in front of the ball, however, the goalkeeper guessed the direction of the shot.
