Rodrigo de Paul and his emotion after qualifying for the final: “I am the happiest person in the world”

Rodrigo de Paul was one of the players most criticized by fans of Argentina after the defeat (2-1) in the debut of the World Cup in Qatar 2022 against Saudi Arabia. “I’m happy. I am the happiest person in the world because I have reached a final with a lot of work”, said the 18-year-old soccer player in statements with DEPORTV. Along the same lines, he recalled the people who were supporting him, despite the bad times.

In this sense, Rodrigo dedicated special words to his partner Tini. “She is always there close, iron, supporting. Today she sent me a very nice message. It is not that we are soccer players, we are people who play soccer. She helps me”he mentioned.

Later, in statements to the press, he also congratulated the Argentine fans for their constant encouragement. “Thank you for the support of the people. I hope the whole country is enjoying it, we are going to feel it from here.”he added.

Argentina will play the final this Sunday, December 18 at the Lusail Stadium starting at 10 am (Peruvian time). The team led by Lionel Scaloni will wait for the winner of the key between Morocco and France.
