Patrice Garande replaces David Linarès on the Burgundy bench

Dijon FCO announced on Monday the appointment as coach of Patrice Garande, who succeeds David Linarès, sacked while the club, which hopes to play the climb this season, points to the penultimate place in Ligue 2 after five days. Aged 60, Garande, originally from the Lyon region, is a former center forward of Saint-Etienne but also of Auxerre, Nantes, Lens or Montpellier in particular. As a coach, he led Caen in Ligue 1 from 2012 to 2018 before joining Toulouse last season, after which he was dismissed after missing the Ligue 1 play-off against Nantes. TFC was ranked 3rd in L2.
