A really awkward moment lived Gerson TaypeLatina journalist, last Wednesday in the middle of the celebrations in Argentina for winning the World Cup title in Qatar 2022. The reporter covered the details of the celebration in Buenos Aires until he ran into a bad ‘Albiceleste’ fan. This is his testimony.
“Not everything was a party in Argentina. I was cowardly attacked by a wretch during a link at noon”, he began by saying this Thursday in a publication through Instagram, along with a video that proves what was said.
“I was only doing my job, reporting on the party for obtaining the World Cup. But misfits and criminals are everywhere; This guy does not represent the millions of Argentines who went out to celebrate in the streets with good vibes”, he added indignantly.
“I wanted to show everyone what one is exposed to on the street; Sorry if I abruptly closed Wednesday’s broadcast; but this is what happened”, explained the Latina journalist, who received signs of support from colleagues and followers after sharing the unpleasant experience. “We cannot allow violence to normalize”, he sentenced.
