last tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo was officially presented in al nassr from Saudi Arabia. CR7 gave a press conference before different international media and later met his teammates and fans. To the latter he dedicated his first words in Arabic.
In front of thousands of fans, the Portuguese thanked them for the love received and was encouraged to pronounce two words in Arabic to unleash euphoria in all the stands. “Ana alamy” was what the former Manchester United footballer said.
What does ana alamy mean?
These two words would not mean anything other than to say “I am international”, “I am global” or “I am global”, which is what he said Cristiano Ronaldo in clear reference to the nickname of Al Nassr, a squad that is known in Saudi Arabia as the global club.
Upon hearing these words, the fans responded with shouts and applause and chanting the name of the Portuguese in unison.

The 37-year-old forward signed a contract with Al Nassr until June 2025. That is, for the next two seasons, in which he will earn around 200 million euros between salary and some commercial agreements.
