OM: Ukrainian midfielder Malinovskiy should sign a contract very soon

Olympique de Marseille’s priority for this winter transfer window, Ruslan Malinovsky, should arrive in the south of France very soon. According to Italian sources, the signing of the Ukrainian International has not yet been completed, but it is expected to take place next week. The operation, probably the transfer, should be concluded for about 10 million euros. In the summer, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder was already followed by the Marseille club.

Playing for Atalanta Bergamo since 2019, Malinowski has been particularly prominent in the 2021-2022 season, scoring ten goals in all competitions and has become Pablo Longoria’s top priority. Marseille’s sporting director sees it as the perfect addition to the game Igor Tudor plays for, thanks to its large volume. With Dea, to whom he did not hide his desire to leave, his contract will still expire in June 2023. In addition to OM, he is followed by English clubs, including Tottenham.

Since the opening of the transfer window, OM has been quite active: there have already been two departures of Luis Suarez, loaned to Almeria, and Gerson, sold to Flamengo. To replace the starting XI, the Marseillais, also deprived of Amine Harit due to injury for many months, want to strengthen their attack. Thus, they could safely consider the end of the season: at this stage they are in 3rd place in Ligue 1 with 36 points, eight points behind the Parisian leader.
