No plans for Easter? Tourism aboard a van, an adventure sport for the whole family

Easter, one of the most important dates to encourage family trips and fun in our country, is just around the corner. For this reason, Mitsubishi Motors, together with Alta Ruta 4×4, invites its public to the family event “Travesía Barlovento Semana Santa 2023”, a journey off road to the places of Paracas and beaches of Ica to enjoy a unique experience that includes contact with nature and an off-road adventure from Thursday 06 to Sunday 09 April.

In this family event it is expected to gather more than 30 vehicles that will make a route through the Paracas National Reserve, visiting the beaches that make up the northern part of the Reserve such as: Salinas de Otuma, Mendieta, El Playón, La Laguna Grande, Canastones, Karwas and Morro Quemado, where you will enjoy a privileged view of the Island of Independence, the final destination being the camp on Barlovento beach.

The public that signs up for this experience will be able to enjoy activities such as fishing, relaxing massages by the sea, and for children there will be sandcastle contests, painting, movie night, storytelling, among others; finally the journey will close with a party of camaraderie.

OFF ROAD 4X4 EXPERIENCE

The experience of driving in the dunes can be difficult and challenging, but it is also incredibly exciting, because being in contact with nature and enjoying the beauty of natural landscapes is a feeling of freedom and connection that the public will be able to experience in the third day of the event, since part of the program includes a circuit off road to enjoy this trip to the fullest.

THE DATA

● The entire journey will have a total distance of approximately 900 km and the cost is $790 per van with up to 4 occupants.

● Participants will meet this Thursday, April 6 at 11:00 am at the Primax tap, located at Km 242 of the Panamericana Sur highway. This will be the meeting place for the briefing and refueling.

● It is important to take security measures into account, such as preparing the vehicle before the trip, checking the water and oil levels, the condition of the tires, among others.
