This Saturday, Wrexham AFC made their promotion to the fourth division of English football (League Two) official. The packed stadium, the emotions to the fullest and the club owners witnessing a feat that had not been achieved 15 years ago. Yes, the owners of this mythical institution, ryan reynolds and Rob McElhenneyThey are two famous Hollywood actors.
Wrexham has a rich sporting history, having been founded in 1872 and is one of the oldest clubs in the world. In 2021, Reynolds and McElhenney acquired the club with the intention of taking it to the elite.
The first step of this objective was accomplished. The fans, full of joy, rushed onto the pitch of the Racecourse Ground stadium to celebrate with the players.
After the achievement, the actor who plays “Deadpool” shared a video on social networks where the emotion with which he lived this moment emerges.
“Rob and I fainted a bit during this moment but somehow we will never forget it,” he wrote on Twitter.
