This Sunday, May 7, the first Argentine soccer superclassic was played, River Plate defeated by the slightest difference Boca Juniors with a goal by Miguel Borja from a penalty at the Más Monumental stadium when the game was coming to an end.
After scoring the only goal of the match, Borja went to celebrate with his teammates on one side of the pitch, however, some River players yelled the goal in the face of ‘xeneizes’ footballers and a great brawl broke out.
The Peruvian right back, Luis Advíncula, was one of those who tried to separate in the fight, but after several minutes of discussions, “Rayo” began to fight with players from the rival team such as; Gonzales Pírez and Enzo Díaz.
The game stopped and when the referee resumed it, he sent off Merentiel, Ezequiel Fernández and Nicolás Valentini in Boca, while in River he sent off Centurión, Palavecino and Gómez.
