Cruz Azul makes offer for Pedro Aquino to América

Peter Aquino could leave America and move to the ranks of Blue Crossa classic rival of the Azulcrema team, who would already have an offer from the ‘cement growers’ on the desk for the services of the Peruvian midfielder.

The board of “La Máquina” has already made a proposal to buy the pass for the current “Águilas” player, César Luis Merlo, an Argentine journalist specializing in transfers, assured this Thursday through a publication in Superdeportivo, a Mexican media outlet.

If the transfer is arranged, Aquino would wear his fourth shirt in Mexican soccer, where he arrived in 2017 from Sporting Cristal. The member of the Peruvian national team first stood out in Lobos BUAP and then went to León, where he became the Liga MX champion in 2020.

This year he played 16 games with América in the Clausura 2023 and only started three times. The little continuity could lead the national midfielder to cross the path.
