The feat they had achieved was immense, the fans on the pitch celebrated with the players, like a single fist. Sheffield Wednesday had to overcome a 4-0 loss to Peterborough United to reach the League One playoff final. At home and with their people they won on penalties after being 5-1 in the ninety minutes.
However, not everything was rosy, the most affected was Lee Gregory, forward of ‘Los Búhos’, who lost his protective mask in full celebrations at Hillsborough Stadium.
“Can you help us!? After our impressive comeback win on Thursday, the Lee Gregory skin is missing! The custom-made protective cover was close to the bench,” the club published on social media.
Sheffield Wednesday will have to face the final this Thursday against Barnsley, due to the closeness of the match the mask, made to measure Gregory’s face, cannot be replaced
“Due to a short response time, we are unable to replace it in time for next week. Any idea where it could be?” Asked the institution.

It was only a matter of hours for the mask to appear. This was made known by the club on its Twitter account. Louie Hodkin, a fan of ‘Los Búhos’ communicated with the willingness to return it.
“My father found the mask after the game. Write to me so you can return it before Monday,” the fan told the Yorkshire club.
