Karim Benzema may not end his career at Real Madrid and even more so at Lyon. At 35, the French striker could follow in the footsteps of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo and discover the Saudi Arabian championship. According to Spanish press reports, the Saudi Pro League will offer the French star crazy terms with a net salary of 100 million euros a year. He could also choose the club he wanted to play for.
Originally signed until the end of this season, Karim Benzema’s contract received an automatic activation of an additional year after receiving the Golden Ball. However, the Madrid club would be ready to let the striker go if he so desired.

Benzema’s arrival is part of an extensive program set up by Saudi Arabia to win the 2030 FIFA World Cup. What’s more, the French player could be one of the project’s ambassadors.
Arriving at Real Madrid in 2009, the former French international (97 caps, 37 goals) has won 25 titles, including five Champions Leagues and four Spanish leagues.
