After having lost some friendlies after the Qatar 2022 World Cup and reaching the semifinals of the CONCACAF Nations League, the FMF (Mexican Football Federation) decided that Diego Cocca leave the position of technical director of the senior team and his place be taken by Jaime Lush.

The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced today through its Commissioner, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, that it terminates the management of Rodrigo Ares de Parga in charge of the Mexican National Teams, and of Diego Martín Cocca and his coaching staff, at the in front of the older men’s National Team of Mexico.
The FMF thanks Rodrigo and Diego for their work and dedication during this time and wishes them every success in their future projects.
To face the next Gold Cup commitment, Jaime Lozano, who was in charge of the Tokyo 2021 Olympic process, is announced as interim technical director.
