This Wednesday, July 12, the Youtube channel of the Peruvian Football Federation suffered a hack, where tutorial videos and download links for pirated programs are now shown. The sports entity did not take long to pronounce itself and assured that the corresponding measures are already being taken.
“We inform the public about the misuse of unauthorized persons on the official YouTube account of the FPF. We urge the followers to understand and the definitive solution to the problem and the backup account will be communicated as soon as possible,” the FPF published on Twitter.
The FPF account on the video platform, which currently has 126,000 subscribers, was unexpectedly plagued by about 40 videos with titles such as ‘Download Microsoft Office 2023’, ‘Download After Effects’ or simply with an ‘S’. ‘ As name.
Likewise, the videos have had a greater to lesser reception: the most viewed accumulates more than 4,000 views, the least registers only 13 views. In addition, attached to the ‘clips’ are the download links.
We inform the public about the misuse of unauthorized persons on the official YouTube account of the FPF. We urge followers to understand and the final solution to the problem and the backup account will be communicated as soon as possible.
