The rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has a new chapter. This Monday, July 17, Al Nassr was thrashed 5-0 by Celta de Vigo in an international friendly that included the Portuguese during the first half. Despite the lousy result, ‘El Comandante’ was encouraged to throw some darts towards the sidewalk in front.
When asked if he could continue his career in the MLS, where ‘Leo’ was recently introduced, Real Madrid’s top scorer was blunt and controversial:
“No, because in Arabia the championship is much better than in the United States,” he replied without joking.
Likewise, he referred to a possible return to European football, and assured that he would not step on the ground where he was in force for more than two decades.
“I am 100% sure that I will not return to any European club. I led the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players come here. European football has lowered the level quite a bit. Only the Premier League is saved and worth it, ”he declared.
Cristiano Ronaldo confirms that he will not play in Europe again and stick to the MLS ????
