Jockey Club prepares the celebration for the Independence Day of Peru

The Jockey Club will once again star, as every year, in one of the equestrian events that most excites the public: the Clásico Independencia 2023. This tribute to the 202 years of the declaration of independence of Peru will have as its main attraction the Horse of the Year and triple Crowned “Paradigma”.

Danilo Chávez Abad, president of the Jockey Club of Peru, was pleased to once again carry out one of the most anticipated and long-standing competitions.

“Since 1919 this classic of national horse riding has been run, which has always brought together the main authorities in our Hippodrome and this year will not be the exception, on July 29 we will receive them in our Official Box to enjoy a spectacle full of emotion and sportsmanship”, Chávez indicated.

As is known, in the month of June the ‘Jockey Fest’ was developed with total success, where thousands of people attended not only to enjoy the best horse races, but also the different attractions prepared for that day.

“In June we had a full house with the Jockey Fest and now we expect the presence of more than 15,000 attendees, who, in addition to the excitement of the races, will be able to enjoy different activities for the whole family, such as: an artistic and paso horse show, a luxury car exhibition, food trucks, inflatable games, an eco-friendly farm, pony rides, a diverse gastronomic offer, among others,” added the president of the Jockey Club.

“We invite all those interested to come to the Monterrico Racetrack, we are sure that it will be a party worth remembering,” said the president of the Jockey Club, “he concluded.
