The coach of the Peruvian National Team, Juan Reynoso, seems to confirm that one of the players who will make up the final squad for the start of the 2026 Qualifiers will be Raúl Ruidíaz, whom he classified as a “great player” due to the good level he presents in his club.

For the national strategist, the integration of the attacker from the Seattle Sounders of the MLS is necessary because, as he indicated, the team is not willing to afford to leave out players of “that level”.

“For me it is necessary. And so Gianluca would have been, we would have called Raúl, ”he said at a press conference.

“I agree that he is a great player and today we cannot afford to leave players of that level out of the national team,” added Juan Reynoso.

The Peruvian National Team will make its debut in the 2026 Qualifiers against Paraguay (September 7) and Brazil (September 12) for the first and second dates, respectively.
