“Conversations from the Grada”: Philharmonic program receives support from UNESCO

Good news to continue stimulating this link between culture and sport. The program “Conversations from the Grada”, led by the journalist Ricardo Montoya and which is broadcast every Sunday at noon by radio Filarmonía 102.7 FM in Lima, has for two weeks had the support of UNESCO in Peru.

It is the first time that a radio program in Peru has received the endorsement of the aforementioned organization. In the interview program, various characters from culture and art talk about their sports hobbies and passions, and sports figures in turn confess their artistic hobbies.

The main objective of the space is that different audiences: sports and artistic, are recognized and expanded. Those who are not interested in sports may feel identified because their artistic idol is a fan of a team or plays tennis or athletics. And who is not fond of reading, the cinema or music approaches them through their references in sport.

Since its premiere, “Conversaciones desde la Grada” has featured different sports and cultural figures such as Susana Baca, Alonso Cueto, Guillermo Arriaga, Fernando Castets, Eduardo Sacheri, Jeremías Gamboa, Gabi Perez del Solar, Cecilia Tait, Jorge Barraza, Raúl Tola, Inés Melchor, Alberto Vergara, Maria Fe Artacho del Solar, Ernesto Cherquis Bialo, Manolo Barrios, Julio César Uribe, Renato Cisneros, Laura Arraya, Mary Luz Andía, Julio Granda, Marcela Castillo, Lucca Messinas, Daniella Rosas, Yvonne von Molendorff, Hugo Ñopo, Pilar Jauregui, Jorge Cazulo, Miguel Iza, Maria Belén Bazo among others.
