The performance of Piero Quispe has improved this year. The Universitario de Deportes midfielder has established himself in the League 1 Betsson and, therefore, his name has not stopped being heard as a possible signing for various clubs, which would mean his departure from the merengue team that is fighting on Closing Tournament with Cristal, Alianza Lima and Melgar.
A few weeks ago it was commented that the cream youth player was being followed by different clubs such as Celtic from Scotland or Brigthon from England. It even emerged that Alianza Lima would be interested in removing him from Ate to reinforce his squad in 2024 and thus make a splash in the transfer market.
Faced with this situation, Jean Ferrari, administrator of Universitario who usually uses his Twitter account very frequently, spoke out to categorically deny all the sayings and rumors.
“Let’s remain united and focused on the objective, Wednesday is a key game, let’s not get sidetracked seeing unreal information. No offer has arrived for any of the club’s players and everyone is thinking about Wednesday’s game, step by step. And give u”, he stated.

It is clear that Piero Quispe will continue at Universitario at least until the end of the year. In addition, he has a contract until the end of 2025, so the club interested in him must sit down and talk with Universitario. Of course, from Ate they have indicated that the only destination for the midfielder would be abroad.
