Palmeiras vs. Flamengo: When and where will the 2021 Copa Libertadores final be played?

Everything is ready for the single final of the Copa Libertadores 2021 to be played. After Palmeiras’ qualification, this Wednesday it was confirmed that Flamengo will be the second finalist in this edition of the contest. Where and when will the title be defined?

The defining meeting will be held on Saturday, November 27 at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo (Uruguay), at a time to be confirmed. The transmission will be in charge of ESPN.

The ‘Fla’, monarch of the tournament in 1981 and 2019, was close to the final thanks to Bruno Henrique’s double for 2-0 over the ‘bullfighters’ in the first leg. In Guayaquil he won again 2-0 with scores from the winger and advanced.

The red-black box faces its third final of Libertadores, where it will be measured against an old acquaintance.

Palmeiras will defend the Copa Libertadores title by drawing 1-1 with Atlético Mineiro this Tuesday in Belo Horizonte, a result that helped him reach the final of the continental tournament after having drawn 0-0 in the first leg.

The ‘Verdao’ of the Portuguese Abel Ferreira left behind a powerful and expensive payroll thanks to a score by Dudu (68), which cooled the Mineirao stadium, where some 18 thousand people entered.

The visitor goal was enough for the São Paulo players to qualify for the sixth final of Libertadores and to get excited about their third crown in the main club competition in America, after the rises in 1999 and 2020.
