In a condemnable act, the Paraguayan striker Antonio Sanabria spat at the Argentine number 10 Lionel Messi, after having a discussion in Argentina vs. Paraguay for the third date of the Qualifiers.
The incident occurred at 84 minutes of play, when both attackers exchanged high-caliber words in the heat of the match.
It is worth mentioning that there was no VAR call and the game continued normally.
Argentina beat Paraguay 1-0 and remains the leader of the Qualifiers with a perfect score.
