The Peruvian defender spoke with the press at the end of Thursday’s match and stressed that we must turn the page and think about the next game.
“The team is beaten, but today will only be the penalty and tomorrow we will think about Argentina,” commented the man from Universitario.
“I think the team can give more, the group has already shown it. You have to have moderation not only in victory, but also in defeat,” he added.
Peru will host world champion Argentina this Tuesday, October 17 at the National Stadium.
