National proud. The Peruvian Michael Yancce is the new pro junior bodyboard world champion, after defeating the Brazilian Guilherme Montenegro in the final of the Gran Canaria Frontón King Pro 2023, held in Spain.
The national athlete achieved a score of 15.25enough to surpass the 10.25 that his current rival achieved in this grand final.
Last year, at the Gran Canaria Frontón King 2022, Michael Yancce was the world runner-up.
First place on that occasion went to the Spanish Jorge Hernández, a native of Tenerife.
