The footballer explained that he “voluntarily” helped his loved ones, but in September 2021 he refused to transfer seven million euros to three of them. The latter categorically deny that they asked for such a sum. “I told them it was too much,” Pogba continues, but “I could help them in other ways and gave them some money”: between 15,000 and 20,000 euros each.

The footballer also clarified that before his imprisonment he “distanced himself” from his friends.
