Sporting Cristal presented, this Monday, November 27 in Florida, his new coach, the Brazilian Ederson Moreira, who will assume the technical direction of the celestial team during the 2024 season in the League 1 Betsson and the Copa Libertadores.
During the press conference, together with the club president, Joel Raffo, he highlighted the importance of this new campaign that is coming in a country of which he only has references.
“I am very happy with this new challenge, I hope we have a great season, with great achievements. I know what a responsibility it is to be in charge of a great team like Sporting Cristal,” he said at first.
“We are going to do a job for the history of the club, for everything it represents and I trust that we will build in the best way this season,” he added.
“I had contact with Tiago Nunes and mainly with Edy Carlos (physical trainer) since we worked for six years. “I am very happy for this opportunity,” Moreira noted.
In addition, he stressed that he has knowledge of the Brazilian market and that can be important for a club like Cristal.
