University receives a significant sum of money from Consorcio Fútbol Perú for becoming champion

The Peru Football Consortium (GOLPERU), owner of the audiovisual rights of University of Sportsawarded the sum of 354 thousand dollars to the club after being crowned champion of the League 1 Betsson. “This afternoon our club received the award for the 2023 League 1 champion awarded by the Peru Football Consortium. The Club Administrator, Jean Ferrari, was in charge of receiving the symbolic check,” reads the publication shared by the ‘Merengues’.

The person in charge of receiving this award was Jean Ferrari, administrator of Universitario, who thanked the cream club for the support. Furthermore, he pointed out that the victory obtained is due to the good work done.

“I am very grateful to the Consortium for the great support it has given to Universitario and all Peruvian football for many years, and now it confirms it with this check for becoming champion,” Ferrari said.

“Being champion is a reflection of the good work that was done in the administrative part of the club, and therefore the gratitude to the Consortium for the always support. […] This is a reward for all that effort that was reflected on the field and a reward for that good work done; We are going to invest this money very well.”he added.
