Conmebol shared the official start and end dates of the Copa Libertadores 2024in which Peruvian clubs will have guaranteed participation in previous rounds and in the group stage, as is the case of Alianza Lima and Universitario.
Both teams will play from April, according to the official calendar.
Meanwhile, Sporting Cristal and FBC Melgar will compete in the competition from the preliminary phase to round-trip duels that will take place between the second week of February and March.
The current champion of the tournament is Fluminense from Brazil, which defeated the Argentine Boca Juniors in overtime.
The first of them, with this achievement, secures their place in the 2024 competition, while the xeneizes failed to qualify and will play in the Copa Sudamericana.
The Peruvian teams qualified for this tournament are: Sport Huancayo, ADT de Tarma, Universidad César Vallejo and Deportivo Garcilaso.
