Gianluca Lapadula: “I think I broke my nose again”

As in so many other glorious nights for his team, Gianluca Lapadula He once again gave joy to the Cagliari fans by scoring one of the goals in his team’s great 2-1 victory against Sassuolo, in a match corresponding to matchday 15 of the Italian Serie A.

The Italian-Peruvian attacker scored the 1-1 for his club at 90’+4, and a few minutes later, Leonardo Pavoletti would appear (90’+9) to score the final 2-1 with a spectacular ‘chalaca’.

But not everything was joy for the Peruvian national team player, because in the middle of the game he worried the rest of his teammates when he suffered a strong blow to the nose from a rival soccer player, when both were fighting for possession of the ball.

This occurred 62 minutes after the crash. Ruan Tressoldi, the footballer who collided with Lapadula, was sent off.

After the match, the popular ‘Lapagol’ gave some statements in which he announced his state of health after the strong blow received on the field:

“I think I broke my nose again. He didn’t have a mask because he had already suffered a fracture in Turin against Juventus and he couldn’t wear it. I asked the coach not to leave the field despite the problem with his nose, I am happy to repay his trust,” said the player.

In addition, the forward published an image on Instagram with the following caption that highlights him as a true football warrior:

“Suffering will always be a possibility for those who never give up!”
