Fossati on signing Piero Quispe to Liga MX: “He deserves the best, to have the opportunities”

In this regard, the Uruguayan strategist highlighted his confidence in the young Peruvian footballer whom he had the opportunity to coach during the 2023 season in which they won the Betsson League 1 title with Universitario de Deportes.

“I found out from the news that I read and that they say that apparently there is a Mexican club and that everything is done. The only thing I can tell you is that Piero Quispe deserves the best, that he has every opportunity,” he said in statements to the press.

“Be careful, being in Universitario and establishing yourself is no small feat. In some ways we feel happy for him if he decides to leave,” she added.

Along these lines, he pointed out that Quispe’s good moment meant that he already had minutes in the red and white team. “I’m not saying it, and he had already been called before, but now he really played and I think he made it clear what his qualities are.”
