James McCaffrey, the voice of Max Payne and Alex Casey, has died at 65

Voice actor James McCaffrey has passed away at age 65 after a battle with cancer. The American died on Sunday, December 17, along with friends and family, TMZ reported.

According to the aforementioned media, McCaffrey died of multiple myeloma that he was diagnosed with.

For those who don’t remember, James McCaffrey was the voice of Max Payne in the popular video game saga of the same name, Alex Casey in the recent Alan Wake 2 and Zachariah Trench in Control.
