Alianza Lima paid 100 thousand dollars to Newell’s Old Boys for the loan of defender Juan Pablo Freytes

Lima Alliance He continues to strengthen his squad to reach the Betsson League 1 title and fight in the 2024 Copa Libertadores. One of his latest announced signings is the Argentine Juan Pablo Freytesfor whom the blue and white club paid 100 thousand dollars.

This was confirmed by Newell’s Old Boys, owner of the 23-year-old defender’s pass, through their official website.

“The institution informs members and fans that it has been agreed to transfer footballer Juan Pablo Freytes to Alianza Lima until December 31, 2024 with the intention of adding international influence,” says the red and black club in the first part of the release.

“This contract stipulates a charge of USD 100,000 and the Peruvian cast will have a purchase option of USD 700,000 for 80% of the player’s economic rights,” he added.

The footballer debuted with Newell’s Old Boys in February 2019, and also defended the shirts of Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza and Unión La Calera de Chile.

The intention with this loan is for Freytes to gain international exposure, since Alianza Lima will compete in the group stage of the Libertadores.
