National midfielder Cristian Benavente will continue his career in Liga 1 Betsson with the César Vallejo University shirt throughout the 2024 season.

The 29-year-old “Chaval” who trained at Real Castilla (Real Madrid’s minor divisions) has just played the last two seasons at Alianza Lima. Additionally, at Milton Keynes, Royal Charleroi, Pyramids, Nantes and Royal Antwerp.

The former Alianza Lima soccer player was part of the blue and white team that won the two-time national championship in 2022.

During the 2023 tournament he did not have minutes, as he had an injury for which he underwent surgery and, although he was at the disposal of the Alianza technical command for the final, he was not taken into account.
