Britos after debut with Universitario: “I adapted quite quickly, it is a very healthy group”

Uruguayan goalkeeper Sebastián Britos debuted in University of Sports in the goalless draw against César Vallejo, in the friendly match played on Tuesday at the Mansiche stadium in Trujillo, on the occasion of the ‘Poet Night 2024’.

The cream goalkeeper gave statements after the match and expressed his feelings after having debuted with the shirt of the current Peruvian champion:

“We are coming out of preseason. The equipment is a bit imprecise. Individually I didn’t have much work. “It was an even game in general terms.” indicated the Uruguayan goalkeeper, who is one of the new merengue reinforcements for Liga 1 Betsson and the Copa Libertadores.

“There is already an armed group, very united. I settled in pretty quickly, a very healthy group, there are young people and old people. “Not for nothing were they champions last year,” he noted.

Britos also had words of praise for José Carvallo, goalkeeper of César Vallejo, who last year was champion with Universitario.

“He was the champion goalkeeper. Already being in University motivates. History indicates it, people make it feel. “The responsibility is greater,” ended.

Universitario’s next friendly match will be on Sunday, January 14 against Atlético Nacional de Colombia. That match will be played in the United States.
