Euro 2024: M6 will broadcast the final, TF1 will broadcast the best half

The countdown to Euro 2024 has begun on TF1 and M 6. From June 14 to July 14, the two channels will broadcast live and unencrypted 25 of the tournament’s 51 matches. Both groups split their matches this Wednesday, January 24, to a draw. As for the 2016 and 2021 editions, it will be M6 that will broadcast the final, regardless of whether Didier Deschamps’ Blues is on or not.

La Six will schedule 13 meetings in total. 7 group matches, all scheduled for 21:00, including Netherlands-France on Friday 21 June, as well as the previous day’s clash between Spain and Italy. The channel, led by Nicolas de Tavernost, will offer two 1/8 finals, two quarter-finals, including the French team if they reach the final, and a semi-final.

Opening match on TF1

TF1 will not suffer, since in an ideal scenario he will have one more match from the French team, including two faithful and reliable ones, even in the event of a catastrophic scenario with the premature departure of the vice-world champions. On Monday 17 June, La Una will broadcast two group matches, including Austria-France, as well as the final potential decider. During the group stage, the tandem of Gregoire Margoton and Bixent Lizarazu will also commentate the opening match Germany – Scotland and the long-awaited match Croatia – Italy. The Bouygues group channel will offer three round of 16 matches, including a first choice match, two quarter-finals and a choice semi-final.

Both groups expect their audiences to grow as the epic of Kylian Mbappe and his friends progresses. For now, TF1 will only offer all preparatory matches for Didier Deschamps’ team.
