Renato Tapia continues to stand out in Spanish football and was chosen as the player of the month ‘Estrella de Galicia’ by fans of the Celta Vigo.
The 28-year-old Peruvian maintains an outstanding performance in the league and was grateful for the consideration.
“The individual effort is being reflected, not only in me, but also in the team. As I have always said, I am a team player, who helps a lot and that is what I have tried,” he said in statements to the club’s official channels.
“Thanks to the people who recognize it, but the truth is that I am happy with this award,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that Tapia was also honored with this award in the month of December.
At the beginning of the season, with the arrival of Spanish strategist Rafa Benítez, there was talk of the possibility of him leaving for French football, but in the end he stayed and took the position.
