The Peruvian team para badminton He had an outstanding participation in the 2024 World Championships held in Thailand, winning a total of five medals.

Pilar Jáuregui was close to obtaining first place, but finally took the silver medal, after losing to the Chinese Liu Yu Tong, with partials of 21-8 and 21-4.

The national athlete also shone in the WH1-WH2 Mixed Doubles category, where together with the Italian Yuri Ferrigno she won the bronze medal.

The red and white delegation was the most outstanding in the region at the World Cup event. In this way, it added important points in the world ranking, ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
